About Bruce Griffin
Born and raised in Sacramento, CA. I didn't come from a family of horseman because I was raised in the city. Not having a lot of money I bought horse that needed some help.
My first exprerince with a horse was with a friend trying to catch him for 2 hours and only riding him for 10 minutes. I came into the horse world by necessity not by desire. This part of my life started through a friend named Darcy Murphy who loaned me a book by Pat Parrelli on Natural Horsemanship.
As I work with some of the ideas in the book and started to dig for more information, I came upon Buck Brannaman, Pat & Deb Puckett, & Ray Hunt. From then on things started to change for me as I could now see what was needed for me to be effective with horses. I need to change and only then was the road ahead able to get better. I share the same views of Ray & Buck about how we the human need to present ourselves and not blame the horse for who they are.
This is what led me to where I am today and I am grateful to have this opportunity to share a life that is beyond most people’s imagination. I do not make excuses for the problem that I encounter with horses, I just work on the solution.
